Catatan hari ini membahas phrase dan sentence.

Phrase merupakan kelompok kata yang saling berkaitan namun tidak mengandung unsur subject dan verb

Sentence (kalimat) adalah suatu konstruksi grammatical yang mengandung suatu pikiran yang utuh

Phrase

1. Noun Phrase (NP) >> dalam kalimat berfungsi sebagai subjek atau objek
    Susunan : Adj + Noun atau Noun + Noun
    *its = kepemilikan (adj)
Example: 1) religious community 2) community development 3) future communication

2. Prepotional Phrase (PP) >> Dalam kalimat berfungsi sebagai adverb 
    Susunan : 
    Preposition > object of preposition
    1) Noun 2) Pronoun (kata ganti) 3)Noun Phrase (NP) 4) Noun Clause (NC) 5) Gerund

Sentence 

Terdiri dari     Adv   +  S  +  V  +  O

1. Adverb (........, S  V   O)

    sebagai adverb: 

    1) Primary adverb ( adv yang ada di kamus) : Fortunately, yesterday, now, there, here

    2) Preposional phrase (PP) : ex. Of all animals

    3) Adverbial clause (AvC)   Susunan: Conj + S + V

         conj: although, while, when, because

2. Subject atau object

    yang berposisi sebagai S atau O

    1) Noun 2) Pronoun 3) Noun phrase (NP) 4) Noun Clause (NC) 5) Gerund (Ving) 6) to invinitive

Verb, Noun, Adjective, and Adverb

Semoga nanti postingan ini bermanfaat untuk semua (kayak ada yang mau baca saja). Hoho.
Oke, sebelum kita menganalisis soal-soal toefl sebaiknya dan diwajibkan untuk menghafal ciri-ciri verb (kata kerja), noun (kata benda), adjective (kata sifat), dan adverb (kata keterangan) >> ini kata kata miss Iis.
(saya masih banyak belajar kadang keliru dengan analisis verb dll, kecuali liat kamus😁)

Tanpa babibu lagi yuk belajar sama-sama ciri-ciri verb.

1. Verb
+ate       = Educate, Operate
+fly       = Clarify, Modify
+ise/ize  = Memorize, Recognize
adj+en   = Brighten, Shorten
en+adj   = Enlarge, Enrich

2. Noun
+ion  = Eradication, Corruption
+ment = Development, Punishment
+ance = Finance, Difference
+ness = Effectiveness, shyness
+ure   = Structure, adventure
+ism = animism, nationalism
+y     = victory, biology
+ics   = physics, mathematics
+ist   = physicist, linguist
+ian  = polician, musician
+or    = actor, contributor
+er     = teacher, doer, performer
+age   = advantage

3. Adjective
+ive  = exclusive, progressive
+ant/ent = significant, important, different, disparate
+able = eatable (bisa dimakan), useable
+full = usefull (penuh kegunaan), hopefull
+less = useless (tidak berguna), hopeless
+ous = carnivorous, curious
+al = logical, postal
+ly = daily, friendly (beberasa saja)
+ic = politic

4. Adverb
Adverb-manner = patiently, wisely, hard, fast, well, by bus
Adverb-time      = at nine o'clock,
                             on friday, on february 15th 2017
                             in december, in 2010
Adverb-place     = at anyelir street 35,
                              on Brawijaya street, on the second floor, on the wall
                              in Indonesia, in Pare
Adverb-frequency = always, often, sometimes = occasionally, usually, seldom = rarely = barely,                                          hardly = never
